…BCB 501 Biocomplexity Graduate Seminar Series

Topic: Mathematical models and biological concepts relevant to questions in microbial ecology and evolution.

ALB 203: 2:00 - 3:15, Thursday

The first 50 minutes will be for a presentation by a faculty member or graduate student, followed by a group discussion. The presentation will usually summarize the ideas in a pre-determined journal article that everyone will have access to (i.e., journal club format), and will be followed by comments and interpretation by the student/faculty who is presenting. The presenter will lead the group discussion, but all students are expected to participate in the discussions. The last half-hour is for those who would like to stick around and discuss general issues, ask questions, etc. (This is not necessarily related to the first hour.)
