Stephanie Sax, Undergraduate Research Assistant

Stephanie majored in Biology and minored in Spanish. As an undergraduate assistant, she helped to plan and execute experiments for graduate students, including Leen De Gelder and Randal Fox. She worked with Randal Fox as he investigated how different nutrient concentrations and disturbance levels effect plasmid transfer in spatially structured populations of bacteria. She worked in the lab from January of 2006 until her graduation in May, 2008.
